Clarine Bryan Lovingood, 86, of 19 Pine Lane, Asheville, died Friday, February 9, 2007, at Aston Park Health Care. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Alice Banks Bryan. She was the owner of C & V Florist and a member of Bent Creek Baptist Church where she was the former organist. Mrs. Lovingood is survived by her husband, Noah Verdon Lovingood; two daughters, Phyllis Rich and husband Jerry of Asheville and Audrey Bruce of Greenville, SC; two sons, Virgil Smith and wife Carol of Hendersonville and Steve Smith and wife Linda of Asheville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Noon Wednesday at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery chapel with the Rev. Tommy Bridges officiating. The family will be at the homes of Verdon Lovingood or Phyllis Rich.
