Claude Baldwin

June 27, 1913 ~ May 23, 1999

Claude Baldwin, 85, of Asheville, died Sunday, May 23, 1999, in a local health care center.

Mr. Baldwin was born in Greenville, TN, and was a son of the late Burnett and Merrdie McDonald Baldwin. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II and was a former employee of Talman’s Office Supply Co. He also worked for the American Red Cross for a number of years.

Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife, Argyle Radcliff Baldwin; a son, Ronald E. Baldwin of Cummings, GA; and three grandchildren, Emily, Whitney, and William Baldwin, all of Cummings.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Mountain View
Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

His family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:30 pm Tuesday
at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and request that memorials be made to ones favorite charity.
