Claudine Monteith Parramore, 83, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Mountain Home Health and Rehab in Hendersonville.
Mrs. Parramore was born in the great smoky mountains of Western North Carolina to the late Clifford and Lou Gunter Monteith. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Claudine was formerly employed as administrative assistant for the state of North Carolina’s health department.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Emory Parramore, Jr.; two stepchildren; a sister and one nephew.
A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life Foundation, 221 N Main Street, Hendersonville, NC 28792.

Claudine was my dear friend, mentor and teacher for 44 years. She was indeed special and will be missed.
