Cleda Mae Davis, 80, formerly of Candler, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at 235 Seitz Drive, Forest City.
Mrs. Davis was born in Breathitt, KY, and was a daughter of the late Robert E. Lee Keith and Louvenia Toler Keith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hoy Henry Davis and a daughter, Edna Lou Hayes. She was a member of the Wabaco Church of God in Hazard, KY.
She is survived by two daughters, Saundra Chailene Davis of Forest City and Carolyn Davis of Flagstaff, AZ; four sons, Karl L. Barnett of Asheville, Manuel Ray Davis of Forest City, Donald Wayne Barnett of Chicago, IL, and Danny Milt Davis of Eden, SC; two sisters, Christine Jeffers and Norma Jean Bryant, both of Hazard; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Upper Room Baptist Church Cemetery (formerly Mt. Pisgah Methodist), with the Rev. Greg Metcalf officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

I am sorry for your loss. Cleda is in a better place now. She has joined Daddy, Edna, her parents and all her friends and relatives who have passed on. They are all rejoicing and awaiting us to join them when our time comes. Love, your sister, Betty
