Clifford Devaughn Roland

Clifford D. Roland Mills River – Clifford Devaughn Roland, 70, of Mills River, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Marion County, FL, he was a son of the late James and Ruby Brass Roland. Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judith Ezell Roland; two daughters, Rita Renée Dore and her husband, Micah of Murrietta, CA and Staci V. Chavez and her husband Phil of Fletcher; two sons, Basil Scott Roland of Brevard and Jimmy Roland of Mills River; one sister, Marilyn Millar of Fletcher; two brothers, Jimmy and Lawton Roland, both of Dunnellon, FL; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that you consider making a contribution in Clifford's memory to the American Heart Association.
