Clifton Leo King, 86, of Waynesville, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Mission Hospital.
Born July 7, 1936 in Anderson, SC, Leo was a son of the late David Leo King and Ethel Mae Carroll King. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Amy Reva King, and his son, Clifton Leo King, Jr.
Mr. King was a member of Buckeye Baptist Church.
Surviving are his son, Ernest King, and his brother, Robert Earl King (Coila).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, www.mda.org.
