Clinton B. Chandler

Arden ~ Dr. Clinton B. Chandler, 89, of Hendersonville Road, died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 in a Fletcher hospital. A native of Lackey, Kentucky, Dr. Chandler was the son of the late T.J. and Laura Hays Chandler and husband of the late Hazel Wright Chandler, who died in 1994. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Minnie Rebecca Wright and Kathryn Blackburn. Dr. Chandler was an Army veteran of World War II and retired as an ophthalmologist. He is survived by a nephew, Gary Wright of Louisville, KY. A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM at Crescent View Retirement Community with Rev. Ernest Ridenhour officiating. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting with arrangements.
