Clyde Earl Sheppard, Jr.

Clyde Earl Sheppard, Jr., 72, of Swannanoa, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Four Seasons Hospice. Born in Buncombe County to the late Clyde E., Sr. and Esther Ella Sheppard, he was a machine shop worker and a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed bluegrass music and going to car shows. He is survived by his step-son, Anthony Anderson. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Elk Mountain Cemetery. Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
