Dear Ann and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Clyde’s death and regret that we’re not able to be with you at this tough time. You and your family made us feel like family and supported us in so many ways when we were at Enka Baptist. We remember Clyde’s quiet faithfulness and willingness to work hard. He made a difference in our lives and in many others, and you all continue to hold a special place in our hearts.
We are praying for you and wish you God’s strength, comfort, and peace.
Dear Cody Family,
Just to let you know that I am praying for you in these days, and that the sting of death shall be overcome with the joy in knowing that Clyde is now with the Lord.
God Bless and Keep You in the full assurance that we will see him again in heaven!!

Dear Ann and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Clyde will be greatly missed, and was a valued friend of our family and more. You and Clyde have always been close and have been there for us.
Dear Cody Family, I have been a friend of Martha’s for 20 years. I only met Mr. Cody a few times, but I will always remember all the stories that Martha told me about her family and her father. His love and devotion to his family was the underlying fact in all those stories. I want to extend my sympathy to the entire family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Annie and Family,
So sorry to hear of the death of Clyde. I have such good memories of all of you from Enka Baptist Church. My heart aches with the children as I know how hard it is to let go of your Father. Annie, I know that the Lord will give you strength and comfort as you continue your journey through life. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
To Cody Family (Martha):
I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. All of you are in our prayers.
Ann, CJ, Nancy, Martha & Linda
Clyde was always a role model at church when I was growing up, as was Ann. It meant alot to a kid to have things stay the same. One of those things was the people at church who were always there and always faithful. To me Clyde was the quiet gentleman. I wasn’t very reserved, to say the least, but admired the reserved personality that Clyde had. I never have gotten there, but never forgot Clyde as that role model. Haven’t seen you guys in years, but you all were a special part of my life. God bless each of you and your families. Love you all.
Thank you Ann for you & Clyde being such special friends to Mom & Dad. Marvin & Shirley

Dear Ann and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Clyde. I have thought of you two often in the past several years. I always enjoyed coming to your house for the Christmas dinners.
I lost my father nearly two years ago and I know what you all are going through. It is not easy but the Lord will give you the grace and comfort that you need. And we have the blessed assurance that we will see our loved ones again.
If there is anything that I can do for you, please don’t hesitate to call me. 252-2956.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Ann,
It is with great sadness that Jane and I learned of Clyde’s death. I will always warmly remember the times in my earlier years I was able to spend with both of you in NC. I always looked forward to those trips. Clyde was a great example to all of us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
There are not enough appropriate words that can express how much The Cody Family influenced me as a teenager and beyond. You hold a very special place in my heart and I sincerely appreciate the dedication you had in providing transportation for my brother (Pupper) and me to and from church services. I have thought of you so many times through the years.
To each of you children, I can sympathize with you as it was 30 years ago that we lost Daddy at a young age. You have had a longer life with your Dad – full of fond memories – and I know you will find comfort in the days ahead as you reflect on these memories.
Ann, I know that God is with you and will help you as you adjust to a changed life while on earth, and that you are comforted by knowing that Clyde is definitely in a better place, without suffering any more.
You are all in my prayers and I love you all.
The family of Clyde Cody would like to thank everyone for having us in your prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. We were a very close family, and there could never be a better dad than the one God gave us. He was faithful to mom up until the end, and so much hated to leave her because he knew that she needed him more than ever since her accident. For all the card, flowers, calls, and kind words thank you so much. We have been truly blessed with great friends and family and surrounded by the love of God and His children. Sincerely, The Cody children.
