A native of Belmont, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruby Cotheran Wright. She was a former employee of Wal-Mart and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church on Shelburne Road.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin R. Fish; two daughters, Elaine Williams of Fairview and Paula Thompson of Manchester, Georgia; a son, Michael Fish of Fletcher; a brother, Roy Wright of Brevard; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday in Trinity Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Ralph Sexton, Jr. Private burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road, where Mrs. Fish will remain until being placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
