Craig Patten Reinfeld, 83, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Nancy, as well as his parents, Martin and Jean Reinfeld. He is survived by his son, Martin Reinfeld (Stacy), his daughter, Courtney Reinfeld (Mark), and many well-loved grandchildren.
Craig was born in Port Washington, Long Island, and was a long time resident of Yorktown, Virginia. Craig served in the US Army and was an avid military gun collector, as well as an amateur WWII historian. He was a career civil servant who worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. Craig was a devoted animal lover his whole life, especially to the many dogs he helped rescue and support over the years through various animal organizations.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA of your choice in honor of Craig.
