  17. Gerri,

There are no words that can express the love and wonderful memories that I have for you and Gene. You know that I thought the sun rose and sat in Papaw Britt. I know today he is the happiest man in heaven to have his son there with him. I know that you will miss him greatly. Oh but how beautiful the music is in heaven today for the choir has a wonderful new angel.
You are in my prayers and today is a day of joy.
    Love Jonel

  19. I am so sorry to hear of Gene’s passing. I have thought of and missed you both often and I am sorry I did not know sooner. Yvonne told me just a couple of weeks ago. He was a wonderful man and I loved his smile. I know Gene is in heaven adding his gift to the beautiful music there and someday we can all sing together again.
