Daniel Anthony Fogg

Daniel A. Fogg, P.E., passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012, in Casa Grande, AZ. A native of Newburyport, MA, he earned an MBA from Western Michigan University and was a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was affiliated with Gerber Products Company and retired from Abbott Laboratories. He married former Asheville native Sylvia Twiford (Carr) Fogg who passed away in 2003. He is survived by a daughter, Marcie Fogg Shenk (Tom) of Chico, CA, a step-daughter, Nancy Carr Sumner Porter (Bob) of Asheville, several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. C. Morris Boyd, THD, officiating. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of local arrangements.
