Daphne Lucille Wheeler

She was a native of Buncombe County, and was the daughter of the late Roy A. Williams and Elizabeth Ann Wheeler Williams, and wife of the late Clifton L. Wheeler who died in 1979.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna W. Banks and husband, William of Arden; one son, Stephen Wheeler of Greer, SC; three sisters Joel Boyd of Asheville, Erlene Jones of Houston, Texas and Ruth Rohrer of Melbourne, Florida; one brother, Harold Williams of Asheville; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Friday, at 11:00 a.m. at Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Perry officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Thursday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
