  10. Hi Donna,

I am so thankful to have been one of Darrel’s Pastors and friends through the years!

I was also grateful for our recent times together. His walk with the Lord had matured so much through the years. Both of you have honored God throughout this challenging trial in your lives and now Darrel is with Jesus…probably signed up for the ‘Heavenly’ choir.

I love you both…my/our prayers are with you!

  11. Donna, Carl, Joy and family: It was a pleasure to have known Darrel so many years ago at Bethel Baptist Church in Shelby. He and I did a duet together once – ‘The Perfect Heart’….. Darrel has lived a great life and is now in the Perfect place with the Perfect One! My prayers are with you now and always. These next few months will be full of talk about his memory and all the good times! God Bless You All

  12. Donna, I was so saddened and shocked to learn of Darrel’s passing. It has been a while since I’ve seen him, but it was always such a joy to get a good hug from him and catch up on the ‘goings on’. Everytime we met, we could pick up where we left off. I enjoyed working with Darrel at Citizens, and loved him from the beginning. The first thing I learned about him was his love for God. There was never a doubt, that he was a dedicated Christian. We often spoke about the Lord. The next thing I remember was the morning he called me aside to tell me about you. He was so excited and so in love. He knew you were the one love of his life and created just for him. I felt the same thing. Upon meeting you I instantly loved you too. I’m so blessed having shared time with Darrel and you and I’m praying for you. It is a tremendous change in your life, but God is so good and I pray He will shelter you thru this storm. I plan to call later to see if we can get together. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and indeed, we shall see Darrel again. Please share my thoughts with his family. They too are lovely people. I love you

  14. Our dear one,
So very many miles apart yet so close in our thoughts, prayers, with memories that hold much laughter, jokes, and yes tears. But through it all God’s promises ring true and loud…death has been swallowed up. And blessed are those that mourn. We have never walked where you walk know…but know that we are here to walk along side. In prayer and love. Many voices have been lifted to God on your behalf, from states away here in WISCONSIN. you are known and loved, by friend and stranger.
It was so hard to not be able to be with you during these months and to hold you. We know God has blessed you with many friends, and we pray this is a comfort.
Our hearts are heavy as we shall miss Darrel while we are still here. And for you and this new walk. With love an prayers. John Terri

  17. I hadn’t spoken to Darrel since high school and several months ago, we found each other on the internet. We talked and laughed for a few days! He was a wonderful guy, smart, funny, and you knew he was going to grow into a fine man. And I can tell that he did.

Heaven is a little brighter place with Darrel Frazee in it.

  18. I am so sorry to hear of Darrel’s passing, and will keep you all in my prayers. I grew up with Darrel, and have fond memories of a funny, generous guy. Today, he takes his rest with our heavenly Father, and one day, we will join him and reunite there. God Bless.

  19. We were so sorry to hear of Darrels’ passing. May God bless each one of his family during this time.

  20. A classmate I graduated with, but never really got to know. He was a part of my past and I will keep him and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

  21. Dear Donna,

Linda and I were so surprised to find out about Darrel’s death. We were out of the country, as we were attending the wedding of our Japanese ‘daughter’ in Tokyo. We saw his obituary in the paper upon our return. He will be missed and we wanted you to know that we cared and that we will all see him again one day…
    Love, Steve & Linda Parker

  22. Frazee family,
Darrel and I were really good friends from 6th grade through high school. We had some really good times. Although we didn’t keep in constant touch after graduation, he has been thought of many, many times. I am so sorry that we lost a wonderful man so early in life and that Class of 1980 did not get to collectively see him at our upcoming reunion. May Gods peace be with you all.

  23. Donna,
I learned of Darrel’s passing today at the office. I am truly saddened by his death, but also know that he is at peace now. He always kept a smile on his face for everyone. I had the great pleasure of taking care of him years ago at Asheville Head, Neck & Ear where the 3 of us originally met. Then to see him working at Sisters of Mercy thrift shop only to run into you two again last year in the medical field. I want to remind you that he loved you with all his heart & soul. God could not have created such a truly deserving couple-you two complimented each other & it showed through for all of us to see. My thoughts & prayers are with you and the entire family.

    Lots of love, Kelly
