Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Ed and Dave’s Family, I knew the Denisons when they lived on Clinton St. near old Vance School in West Asheville. In life we are never ready to lose our loved ones and the only comfort has to come from our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. I am thinking of you. Joe Clark

  2. I remember your dad as a kind and compassionate person. A little girl once told me ‘God needs good people too’. May God give you the strength to walk in his celebration,to smile in your memories and to relish in the love that is still among us.

  3. Jennifer and family: I have so many fond memories of you and your wonderful family. Your father was the kindest and sweetest man ever. Just think how outnumbered he was with all you girls and your friends! What a great loss of a fine human being.

  11. Marilyn & Girls,

The service for Dave was the most befitting characterization of a human being that we have ever witnessed. Everyone hit the ball out of the park on Dave. He was such a dear friend and joy of life. We talked and laughted all the way down the mountain reminising about all the wonderful times shared and especially all the ‘tricks’ we played on each other in days gone by. The episodes of the snow buried VW and Dave’s elevator antics stand out. He will be missed!!!

    Vicki & Charles

  12. My thoughts & prayers will remain with the family. May God hold all of you close during this very difficult time!

  13. Donnie and I delivered heating oil to Dave for many years. He always had a smile and a kind word. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met and am so sorry about his death. I always felt so peaceful around Dave. He will be greatly missed.
