  1. Dad I love you so much. You were such an amazing dad. You will be missed more than you could ever imagine. I can’t wait to see you again in heaven.

  2. Aaron my deepest sympathy on the loss of you Dad. I know how hard it is. Also, prayers for you and your family. Your Dad and all of his brothers and sisters were very kind to me. Your Dad will be missed.

  3. Worked with David at Westinghouse/ Eaton for many years. He was always bragging on his son and family, he loved talking golf and still today I still play with a set of clubs I bought off of him. My prayers are with the family.

  4. Aaron and the Wright family,
Your dad and I worked closely together in Human Resources, at Westinghouse/Eaton, for 20 years. I enjoyed working with David. He was professional in every way and helped us create one of the best safety programs in both companies.
I know he will be missed by you and many others. I am sorry to learn of his passing.
May the Lord give you His grace as you face the coming days.
    David M King

  5. Boodie, here are my sincere condolences on David’s passing. I first met him in school at A-B Tech. He was quite a golfer then and we used to take practice swings down on the high school football field when no one was looking. Later, at Eaton, he was a pleasure to be around and earned everyone’s respect.

  6. in 1957 when i moved to skyland, at intersection of long shoals and us 25, i met you..and all family..then there was no red light, long shoals was crooked, no lake julian, no interstate..but thru the next 9 years each leisure day was spent with you…with boodie..we were inseperable…after moving to fl in 1993, we lost cost contact..not long ago we spoke..we both told each other we loved one another..you said we had so many memories..all fond ones!! To the family, and your son..we were what the dream come true growing up in skyland is…true back yard heroes, and love for one another, unable to wait for another day of brotherhood…in 1973 after both us got out of service, you and boodie were at wcu…i enrolled and we again for 2 years there..LORD has your spirit in his bossom…waiting to come for that old body and unite us all again…PRAISE HIM AND GIVE HIM THE GLORY…..LOVE you David Patrick Wright..alias “LON”—THE LIGHT! AMEN
