DEAN STEPHENSON
CANDLER – William Dean Stephenson, 69, of 12 Flowering Dogwood Road, died Saturday, March 19, 2011.
Mr. Stephenson was born in Asheville and was preceded in death by his parents, Wilkie Dalton and Geneva Johnson Stephenson and by a sister, Flora Rackley. He was retired from the construction/maintenance department of Mission Hospitals.
He is survived by three sons, Floyd, Billy and Dalton Stephenson; a granddaughter, Brandy Burcham and her husband, Joe; a great-grandson, Zane; and a sister, Mary Mason-Lakey.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Monteith officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at DeHart Cemetery, Bryson City.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

dean u will always be in my heart i luv u so much i will never forget u i gave birth to a daughter on the day of ur passing so ill always think of u and how sweet ur smile was and how u always looked like a million bucks with perfect hair u will be missed but not forgotten
