Dennis Charles Robinson, 70, of Mills River, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Pardee Hospital, Hendersonville.

Born in Asheville, he was the husband of Donna (Stearns ) Robinson of Mills River, and the son of Faye (Ruth) Robinson of Mills River and the late Charles Lewis Robinson. He was also predeceased by a son, William “Will” Charles Robinson, and a sister, Susan Chinchar.

He was a Navy Veteran of Desert Storm.

Dennis was of the Baptist faith, and he was a loving husband, father, and son. He enjoyed whittling and creating walking sticks with his son, Matt.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, Matthew Robinson of Mills River.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Pastor Roger Reardon officiating. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard, Fletcher. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, from 10 to 11 AM.
