Michael, our hearts are broken to know that you lost your beautiful mother. And beautiful she was — inside and out. John still talks about how he loved her cooking. In particular, he couldn’t believe how well she made beef liver. As a matter of fact, he was telling one of our neighbors about that just in the last week. She was so kind, so giving, and so loving. I know you and your family will miss this wonderful lady. Please know that our prayers are with you all.

Very sorry for your loss she was a sweet lady
Dear family,
Delores was definitely a shining light. I loved working at Leicester Elementary with her for so many years. My prayers are with the family.
Love,
Anita
What can possibly be said about this woman more than what a Godly Woman Deloris was! Such a sweet spirit loved by anyone who ever had the pleasure of making her aquaintance. Deloris and David were “fixtures” in Vicki and my life in that we were “near neighbors” (a block or so away) before either of our families moved to Leicester and now in Lester we’re in eyesight of each other. Went to church together at Grace Baptist only to later go again, together at West Asheville Baptist. If you ever needed someone to pray for you, you wanted sweet Deloris to be the one. We are really going to miss our chance to see her walking to our house some part of every day before she began her journey to Heaven with her illness’. Have fun and worship with our Savior Jesus Christ and yes, David too! See you later sweet sweet gir!
Such a beautiful sweet lady.
Dear Broome Family,
Our prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. She will be truly missed, she was always smiling. Our son Davey Woody had her as an assistant teacher for Kindergarten at Leicester School, she was such a big part of his first year of school. We are sorry that we are not able to be there. Love and Prayers.
You are in my thoughts and prayers during these very difficult days. Praying for peace and comfort for your family and loved ones. Love you sweet Cass.
Dear Broome family,
I loved working with Mrs. Broome at Leicester Elementary. She always had a smile on her face and always made sure she left you with a smile on yours. She was a very special lady and will definitely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dolores was a very loving and beautiful woman. We graduated together from Lee Edward’s High School in 1961. We all will miss her. Love and prayers, Joanne Carter Gunter
What a beautiful Godly Christian lady. You are going to be missed. God bless and comfort the family
Sharon and family, we were so sorry to hear of the passing of Dolores. She was a good friend and a wonderful person and will be missed by many. I would definitely be at her service but I had a Total Hip Replacement 2 weeks ago and unable to go out yet. We are remembering your family in prayer
Dear Broome Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time. She Was Beautiful both inside and out!
She Had a heart of Gold and Loved Everybody.
She and I were great friends and you never saw this lady without that beautiful smile. I pray for comfort, peace and strength in the days ahead. May God Bless all of you and may you feel his arms around you giving you the strength you need at this difficult time. Betty Byrd
Michael and family, Your mother was a precious lady. I pray for God’s strength to get you through the days and weeks ahead.
Mrs. Dolores was such a precious lady. She always had a smile on her face and encouraging words to share. A very dedicated Church member for sure! I know her rewards will be great! She will be missed!
Michael and family, I am so sorry for the loss of your most precious mom!! She was definitely an angel on earth, and I know she is celebrating her new body in Heaven. I will never forget her kindness and love for the Lord, and I still use recipes she gifted to me when I was doing Bible study with her so many years ago. I will be praying for God to bring you the peace and comfort that only He can provide during this time!!
Michael and Sharon, so sorry
About Delores’s passing. She was such a sweet, beautiful
Who always had a smile to share. Thinking of both of you
Michael and family; I am so sorry that Dolores isn’t with us here on this earth, but you know she is rejoicing with our Heavenly Father, that she loved dearly. She never failed to tell it, and how good He had been to her. David and Dolores were a very special couple, and they loved the family and their friends. They set great examples of God’s love, and many have been blessed by both the parents and families. My thoughts and prayers for all of you now and in the coming days. Beth Worley

Dolores was the sweetest person. She loved her Lord and her family and never failed to talk about either of them. I will miss her very much. Her gentle and loving spirit always made you happy to be around her. She loved singing in the choir so much and we were all sorry when she had to stop. Her prayers were powerful. She was a lovely Godly woman.

So sorry to hear. She was such a sweet lady.
Prayers for family.
Broome family, I worked at Leicester Elementary for about 12 years where I met Dolores. What a beautiful person she was, inside and out. Her love for the Lord was so obvious. May it put you at peace knowing that she is with him. She will be missed.
Larry and I were so sorry to hear about Delores. Such a sweet and precious person. We feel blessed to have known her. Our love and prayers are with Michael, Candy and their children. Heaven has gained another Angel.

I am so sorry to see this news. Growing up at Grace Baptist and knowing the family is a fond, fond memory! Prayers to your family!
Such a beautiful spirit Delores has and we will see her again, with more time in Heaven than here on this earth! I so enjoyed our talks. Thanking the Lord for her life.
I’m another person whose life was made richer by having known this sweet, precious lady. She produced “light”
wherever she went and was loved by so many. David, I’m sorry this is so late, but I loved your Momma. She was definitely a very special soul indeed. I will see her one day, but until then, I have “Precious Memories” to hold
on to.
