Arden, NC – Donald Benham Dillenbeck, 93, of High Vista Drive, died Monday, October 3, 2005, in a local hospital. Born in Johnstown, Penn., he was the son of the late Arvin J. and Mary Elizabeth Benham Dillenbeck and husband of the late Margaret Ruth Moore Dillenbeck, who died in 2004. Mr. Dillenbeck was retired from the New York Telephone Company. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a charter member of the Lake Erie Beach Volunteer Fire Company in Evans, NY. He was a past Grandmaster of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge # 709 in Angola, NY, a Life Member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. He was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Fletcher, NC. He is survived by two daughters, Deanne Cunningham of East Aurora, New York and Daryl Redman of Orange Park, Fla.; a son, Douglas F. Dillenbeck of Waxhaw, NC; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Esther Prudden of Lockport, NY and Ruth Kiligas of Wycoff, NJ. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Matthias Episcopal Church in East Aurora, NY.

    we chatted on the phone many times, he faxed me stuff and we both shared electronics as a profession and hobby, I am sorry for your lost and I will miss his
    wit and smarts and all our in depth conversations, Don will truely be missed.
