Donald “Donnie” Stroupe, 74, of Asheville, passed away on August 3, 2021. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he was the son of the late Ben and Eva Watts Stroupe.
Donnie was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He is preceded in death by his brother, William “Buddy” Ben Stroupe Jr. and his loving wife of 50 years, Michelle Rose Heavican Stroupe.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sons, Jeffrey Stroupe of Asheville and Darren Stroupe of Omaha Nebraska; daughter, Rebecca Deiber and her husband Nathan of Omaha; grandchildren, Sarah Stroupe of Omaha, Jacob Stroupe of Asheville and Lauren Stroupe of Omaha and a great-granddaughter, Brinley Stroupe of Omaha.
