Donald L. Price, 69, of Candler, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
He is survived by his loving companion, Amy Newberry; sons Phillip Price, Josh Newberry, and David Ballard; and many close friends and family.
Mr. Price was devoted to his family and friends, and was a mentor to everyone he encountered. He loved life, and could never say "no"! He will truly be missed.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Malvern Hills Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Doug Tilley officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses may be sent to Wells-Fargo Bank, Candler, NC.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
