Donna Brooks Wolfe, 54, of Candler, died on Friday, June 17, 2011, at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.
A native of Lexington, NC, Mrs. Wolfe was a daughter of Phillip Donald Brooks and of the late Mary Jo Hughes Brooks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Wolfe, who died on June 13, 2011.
Mrs. Wolfe had retired from Parkdale Mills, where she worked as a cotton fixer.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her sons, Tony Cunningham, Phillip Owens, Dustin Williamson, and Ron Owens; step-mother, Jean Brooks; sisters, Denise Howard, and Tonya Rochester; brother, Phillip Donald Brooks, II; and grandsons, Tanner Cunningham and Austin Penley.
A funeral service for Mrs. Wolfe will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Rev. Lloyd Brown, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, in Black Mountain.
Her family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
