Dora West Netherton

Dora West Netherton, 92, of Asheville passed away Monday, May 24, 2021.
Mrs. Netherton was born in 1928, in Madison County to the late Thurman and Annie Duckett West. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Candler Netherton Jr. and a son, Robert Netherton.
She was a former inspector with Square D and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and working with her flowers.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Netherton Ford (Mike) and a son, Lynn Netherton (Cathy); three grandchildren, Jason King (Kristin), Cody King (Jessica) and Denice Helton (Vince), and ten great-grandchildren, Evey, Jodi, Briar, Byron, Brock, Kendall, Nahailey, Braxton, Victoria and Haylei.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Ashelawn Gardens with the Rev. Garry Rogers officiating.
