Bobby and family,
My love and prayers are with each of you as they have been over the past few weeks. I have never seen anybody that was so anxious to touch the face of Jesus as Dorcas. She was ready weeks ago and I told her there was no way until she gave up her meatloaf recipe and her pimento cheese recipe. I still cant believe that she has gone to Heaven, I am however thankful that she is no longer in any pain. Dorcas you are going to be missed so much and we all look forward to the day that we reunite with you again. Bobby, I love you dearly and THANK YOU so much for taking the time each day to call me from Chapel Hill and let me know what was going on. Just know that your friends and family of Calvary are here for you. GOD BLESS each of you.
Donna and Family: We are so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. As you know, we feel that we should be there to support you, but are out of town and unable to be there. We rejoice in the knowledge that we will one day be reunited in Heaven with our loved ones who have gone on before us. It is that knowledge that gives us hope and peace in difficult times such as these. We pray that you will be filled with this peace and hope, and the knowledge that you will be reunited with your dear mother once again in Heaven. We love you – Steve, Rhonda, Kristen and Alex
Dear Bobby: We are so so sorry for your loss but know that Dorcas is flourishing in heaven. She is so sorely missed already. You and she both touched us deeply with your concern, caring and prayers for Freddy and our family have been uplifting. We will keep your family in our prayers. Love Fred, Margo & Freddy Jr Snedden

Dear Bobby and the entire family,
You are and have been in my thoughts and prayers. I know you miss Dorcas, but I also know that you have the comfort of knowing that she is continuing to live in heaven with her Lord and Saviour. Dorcas showed her unconditional love for others in the way she lived her life. And I will never forget what she told me when we were at the hospital before they took her to Chapel Hill, ‘Don’t worry, just pray.’ God bless you all.
Donna and Family,
You have been heavy in my thoughts and prayers. I just found out about your mother and I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard the next few days will be, but Praise the Lord, you know where to find her.

Donna, Howie and Family,
I was saddened to hear of your loss of Dorcas. She was such a special lady! I used to have such a blast when I came to your house to have a sleep-over. She would fix us the best food in the world.
It is a comfort to know she is in Heaven and now has a new body. No more pain and suffering, no tears, just rejoicing. If there would be anything at all that you need please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me. I will be praying for you today and in the days ahead. It will be hard but with Jesus, all things are possible. Remember Phillippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I love you.

Donna & family – I’ve known your mother for years and was so sorry to hear of her passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
Dear Bobby, our thoughts and prayers are with you and family. Dorcas will me missed by all who came in contact with her. The great number of people that attended her beautiful service is a testiment to those who love her. Jesus has called her to his side where she dwells in his light.
I will always remember the kindness Dorcas showed to me and to my family. What an honor and privilege it was to know and to love her. I am not sure what any of will do without her, but I know that she would want each of us to live the best Christian life we can. She was the ultimate Christian witness. Personally, I will learn from her example every day I am given on this earth.
Dear family:
I was a class member and friend of Dorcas. We attended school at Waynesville Township High and graduated in 1956. I haven’t seen Dorcas for a few years but I shall always remember her. She was such a kind, sweet and thoughtful person who never changed! May God provide solace and comfort to all of you during this time.
Rest in peace, friend.
Dearest Bobby,
What a special lady you married! She was an angel to everyone she met. She was a caretaker in every sense of the word. She was the most self sacrificing woman I had ever met. She cared for the most unfortunate like I had never seen anyone care for them. She spoke to children with compassion and adults with passion for Christ. She was incredible! We will never forget her. You were very blessed to share this part of your life with her. I am sure that heaven is a better place with Dorcus there. She is home. We love you and if you need any comforting during this sad time please call us.

To the Moffitt Family: Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother, and my dear friend and 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Moffitt. Out of all my years in school, Mrs. Moffitt is by far my favorite. She made school so much fun! I had the pleasure of coming to a cookout at her home as a reward for a reading project. I will never forget this dear soul. May peace be with you, for I know it is now with her. Love and Prayers.
