Doris Randall Harrell, 79, of Asheville, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, in a Fairview nursing Center.
Mrs. Harrell was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Walter Raleigh and Irene White Randall. She was married to George W. Harrell, Jr., who died in 1992. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Christine Williams, two brothers, Allen Randall and Aubrey Randall. She was a former inspector for Kellwood Manufacturing and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Mason and her husband Mack of Arden and Brenda Sanders of St. Cloud, FL; one sister, Bernice R. Cole of Oteen; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Williams of Fredricksburg VA., Tony Sanders of St. Cloud, FL., Brian Williams of Asheville, Sharon Mason of Arden, Alan Sanders of Orlando, FL., and Laura McDaris of Fletcher, and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Don McIntyre and Rev. Jim Carrigan officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
