I am deeply saddened to learn that Doris has passed away. To Ernestine and Marvin, I trust you will find the comfort of God in this time of loss. I remember Doris taking care of me as a child at Deaverview Baptist Church. She was a wonderful Christian who always had a smile and kind word for everyone she met. She helped mold my life in a most positive manner and I thank God for her love and dedication. I’m sure the angels have welcomed her with open arms into the heavenly choir.
Dear Ernistine,
It has been many years since I was at Deaverview but I still remember and appreciate how kind you and your mother were to me and Justin. I am so sorry to hear about Doris and my prayers are with you and the rest of your family. I lost touch when we moved but we have come back now and if I can do anything at all for you please dont hesitate to let me know. Doris helped me out by doing the sound for my wedding 12 yrs ago. That was very sweet of her and I have always thought of her when we look back on that day. She touched lives I’m sure that she didnt even realize how much it meant.
Our prayers are with you: ‘Sam’, Michael, Justin, and Noah

Dear Earnestine and Marvin,
I was so saddened to see about your
mother in the paper. She had been
on my mind just a few days ago. I
should have called you then.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
You are in my prayers.
God Bless You,
Elizabeth Taylor
