  1. Dear Neil and Family, We were so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing, I had seen her at Christmas and we spoke for a few minutes, she was such a lovely lady and I know will be greatly missed but know that she is in God’s hands now and probably working on quilt for the King. Our love and prayers are with you and your family, Fondly, Shirley and Gus

  2. To the Young family,

I was so sorry to hear about
Dot’s death. She was such a nice person and always had such a friendly outgoing personality.

    Marian Presnell(Nard’s wife)

  3. Dot was such an inspiration—as an accomplished quilter and as a delightful person. I’ll always remember her by her lovely, shining smile. Her kindness and sharing nature are goals for us all to strive for.

  4. Our love and sympathy to all of you.
We truly loved Dot. Will always remember her and how brave she was to the end. God let her stay with us this long to be an inspiration to us—and she was!!

  5. Dot’s passing, with her memorial taking place on this Good Friday-the day our Lord laid down His life for His friends-reminds me of her giving way. Always gracious and hospitable, Dot’s smile was evidence that she served others out of love. May we all pray with confidence that God’s good and faithful servant is blessed with His eternal reward.

  6. Teresa,Neil,Dennis, and Jim-I am so sorry to hear of Dot’s passing. I spoke with her a short time ago,and really enjoyed our conversation. You have lost both parents so closely. Please know I am thinking of you all.

  7. Dennis,Jim,Teresa,Neil

  8. God saw she was getting tired, a cure was not to be.
So God wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered ‘Come with me.’
She suffered much in silence, but her spirit did not bend.
She faced her pain with courage, until the very end.
She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain,
God took her to His loving home and freed her from the pain.

“Our deepest sympathy to all of you at this time of sorrow. She is in God’s care now and what better care could we ever ask for her? Now I pray for Your comfort in the days ahead. May the memories held deep inside your heart help to comfort you. God bless you and keep you in His tender care and love for all eternity.’ If there is anything we can do please let us know. She was loved and will be greatly missed..

  9. Dear Young family

I am so sorry for your loss. Dot was a wonderful wonderful person. Who knows where I would be in life without her. She kept me from when I was 6 weeks old until 9th grade which is exactly half my life.

She was my second mother / third grandmother. She was always there for me no matter what and was always at the big experiences in my life. Since all of my grandparents have passed it is especially hard she won’t get to see me walk down the aisle if that ever happens haha. I never pictured that part of my life without her.

I know it has been awhile since I saw her but i loved her very much. I am SO blessed to have had her in my life. My parents always said she was their savior and they could not have made it through life without her

It was so great to have seen everyone on Friday you r all in my prayers. I wish I would have known she was ill I would have been right there please let me know if I can do anything

    Lauren
