Dorothy Ann Black Burnette, of 15 Future Drive, Apt. 1-B, Asheville, died Monday, July 22,
2002, at the Hospice Solace Center.
Mrs. Burnette was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Herman and Dora Sams Black.
She is survived by a daughter, Tracy Burnette of Asheville and a son, Todd Burnette of Candler; two sisters, Marjorie
Ramsey of Asheville and Ruth
Brezina of Littleton; two brothers, Robert William Zentz of Front Royal, VA and Von Junior Black of Asheville, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Towe officiating. Burial will be at Elk Mountain Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
