Dorothy C. Partin

Dorothy C. Partin, 82, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Givens Estates. Surviving is her family, daughter Beth Partin and granddaughters Tamara and Teresa, son and daughter-in-law Ken and Peggy Partin and granddaughters Morgan, Kensley and Caitlin, Emily Partin, brother Tony Carrelli and nephew Michael and Terry Carrelli. Dot was born in Asheville. She was a loving mother and grandmother, member of Central United Methodist Church, PEO, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Methodist Women's Circle, and many other groups and organizations. She enjoyed cooking, bridge, traveling, and most of all time with family and friends. Her home was always full and busy, especially during special occasions. A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Ed Hillman at 3:00 pm Friday in the Pulliam Chapel of Givens Estates. Private interment with family attending will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family is deeply grateful to the staff of Givens Estates for the remarkable care they provided their mother and grandmother, and for being their extended family for the past 15 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Residents Assistance Fund for Givens Estates, 100 Wesley Drive, Asheville, NC 28803 in honor of the staff.
