Dorothy Chapman Pitmon, 92, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Asheville, died Monday, February 19, 2007.
Mrs. Pitmon is survived by her son, Tom Pitmon, of Miami Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Pitmon, and her husband, Earl L. Pitmon, who died in 1972. She was a former member of Grace Convenant Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church.
A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Lewis Memorial Park with the Rev. Mary Fay Carson officiating.

I am sorry for your loss. I was sorry to here about Jerry as well. I too, had a recent loss, my wife. I was in Asheville this past Christmas and mentioned you and your family as I drove up Kimberly Avenue. Hope all is well with you.
