  3. Mrs. Gordon was a wonderful lady and we truly loved her and her family. There will always be fond memories of those years when we were close neighbors. She and my Mother(Mrs. Cornwell) could spend hours talking on the telephone because they had a special love for each other. Mrs. Gordon was a ‘witty’ but very intelligent lady who loved life and her family more than anything. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is in her heavenly home now and we somehow can here her and Mrs. Cornwell talking again about how glorious heaven is. May God bless the family at this sad time. We will remember you in our prayers.

    Much Love

  4. I have remembered Dorothy for so many years with such fondness. I knew her when she was at Avery’s View. I value my memories of her wonderful spirit and sense of humor. I still smile when I think of her beautiful smile. I wish you God’s comfort while you go through this difficult time.

  10. Mrs. Gordon could fill a room with laughter. Her beautiful smile and witty personality would draw people toward her, and she made many lifelong friends that will greatly miss her. I hope that her children can find comfort in the wise and wonderful words of our Savior. Jesus said, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. (John 11:25-26).

  11. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Mrs. Gordon was a sweet and very interesting lady. We will remember her. She was a great roommate for Mama Duck.

  12. I was so sorry to hear about Dorothy passing. She was such a wonderful lady! I enjoyed having her in our groups when I worked at the Baptist Home. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. May God bless each of you with His peace and comfort.
