Dorothy Honeycutt Robinson

Dorothy Honeycutt Robinson, 94, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Mrs. Robinson was born Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 1927, in Yancey County, to the late Claude F. and Dorothy Tipton Honeycutt. She often assisted her husband, the late Raleigh Robinson, in his car sales business, Robinson Brothers Motors, but was primarily a homemaker caring for her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Dunville; a son, Michael Robinson (Geri); grandchildren, Jason Robinson (Gena), Ashley Carr (Drew), and Kelly Kilby (Tyler), and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating. Private burial will be at Honeycutt Family Cemetery, Burnsville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
