Asheville - Dorothy Ingram Warlick, 93, of Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community, died Tuesday, January 7, 2003. She was born on February 7, 1909, in High Point, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Charles T. and Kathryn Webster Ingram. Mrs. Warlick moved to Asheville in her twenties, after attending Washington Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia and Salem College. She was an avid golfer, voracious reader, world traveler and community volunteer. She was presented at the Rhododendron Royal Brigade of Guards, a member of the Junior League of Asheville, the Children’s Welfare League, Central United Methodist Church and the Biltmore Forest Country Club. She is survived by her son, Paul William Warlick, Jr. and his wife Mary Anne Adams Warlick; two grandchildren, Anne-Elizabeth Rutledge Warlick and Paul William Warlick, III; a brother, C.T. Ingram, Jr., of High Point; a nephew, Carter D. Ingram of High Point; and a niece, Katherine Ingram Lyon of Lexington, Kentucky. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2003, at St. Giles Chapel, Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community. Graveside rites will follow at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard. The family will receive friends immediately afterwards at the home. Memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O.
