Dorothy Pinkerton Hipps, 87, of the Oakley Community, died Thursday, March 21, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters, Faye and Carolyn, both of Candler; one step-daughter, Martha, of Fletcher; three step-sons, Hilliard and Curtis of Candler and Horace of Isle of Palms, SC; and numerous grand, step-grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Emmas Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Thurman officiating.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
