Our thoughts and prayers are about and with you. Dorsey will always remain in our memoirs.
My mother Katherine McIntosh ask us give you her love and you are in her prayers.
I am so sorry I did not know about Dorsey. My aunt Lagonda Rhodes just passed and I was viewing the names here. Dorsey was such a wonderful person. I know she was a dear friend to my dad Woody, when she worked at Dunhams. I always enjoyed seeing her out and about in the community. She was precious.
Miss Dorsey, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light to not only the little ones in her care but to all who knew her. Her spirit of love, faithfulness and humility were always evident and an inspiration to each one of us at Bent Creek Baptist. May you take comfort that she is in the loving arms of Christ. May God’s peace be upon you.
To Ms. Dorsey’s Family,
We loved Ms. Dorsey very much. She was Kyle and Kayla’s first sunday school teacher. She was committed to impressing upon these small children that Jesus loved them and lived within their hearts. We will greatly miss this beautiful child of God. Our lives have been enriched by the love of Ms. Dorsey.
Mike, Rhonda and Christina,
Our thoughts are prayers are with you at this time in your life. Dorsey was such a sweetheart and a wonderful cook as many know. How could anyone forget the wonderful meal she would prepare once a week for the Westwood friends.
Should you need us at any time please feel free to call.
Tell Christina we love her.
I remember Dorsey from her years at Dunhams. I worked right next door off and on for years at Family Dollar. She came in all the time and just had to have her microwave popcorn. She always had a smile and a great sense of humor. She was a lovely lady. My prayers go out to the family.
Dear Michael and Family, We were so sorry to see the death of Dorsey. We have very fond memories of her, and remember what a kind lady she was. Sorry we could not be with you and your family today.

Dear Family & Friends,
I was on staff at Bent Creek Baptist Church and knew Miss Doresey the past 20 years. She was an incredible woman who was loved by many including myself and my wife. One of our great regreats was when we found out that we would be leaving Bent Creek, knowing that my then infant daughter would miss out on being loved by Miss Doresey. May God richly bless you during this time.
In Christ,
Pastor Freddy Johnson, Helen and Taylor

Mike and Rhonda, Sorry to hear about Dorsey passing away. I know you will miss her, but she is in a better place. Both of my parents are also in heaven, Bill & Shirley Gentry. They are also buried at Bent Creek Bapt Church Cemetery. Last Fri, 3-31-06, was the 7th year anniversary of my mom passing away. Dorsey was a very good christian and friend to my family over the years. I talked to Christina at work last week and she told me about her grandmother passing away. I enjoy talking to Christina at work. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. We will all be together soon in heaven.
