Guestbook

  1. Barbara, Don, and Lisa…I am so very sorry about your mom…praying for you all to be at peace knowing that she is in heaven. Love you
    Robyn and Mike

  2. Barbara, Your Mother was one of the sweetest, most kindhearted people that I have ever had the pleasure to know. My Mother was very fond of her also, and I remember her speaking of your Mother many times as I was growing up. I know you will miss her and cherish the memories you have of her.

  3. Barbara we are sorry to hear of Dots passing. She was a great friend and relative and a source of history when I wanted to know about relatives. She will be missed by many. May God bless and keep you in his Mighty Hands. Our love. Hubert and Jean

  4. Aunt Dorothy,You were always there through the thick and thin, ups and downs. How you undergirded me when Momma graduated and then when my precious Fred went home. Your words of hope are now eternal and what strength they always brought to me. I recall the birthday cards with one or two dollars as we were growing up. Made me feel like a princess. You were the glue that held us together but now your labor is completed. You make heaven look even more sweeter. I will miss all our visits but I know you are part of the cloud of witnesses now watching over me. Barbara, what a legacy you now have!

  5. Barbara, I am sorry to hear about your Mom. She was one of the sweetest customers that came in the bank. She made the first rum cake I ever ate and she was kind enough to give me the recipe. She will be missed but she has finally gone home where there is no more pain. You are in my prayers. Love Clara Owenby at Wells Fargo.

  6. Barbara… our sympathies to you and your family.

In remembering Dot since we learned of her passing, we decided, in addition to being the sweetest woman on the west side of Princeton Drive, she made the best rum cake!

Marlowe has many fond memories of your mom during his years across the street. We’re also thankful for her friendship with Jane…and Billy too! She touched many hearts!

    Our love and blessings…

  7. I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She always seemed to be a very strong and happy person. May you keep happy thoughts of her to comfort you always. God Bless you and we will be praying for you and your family.
