Doyle James "Jimmy" Clark, Jr., 44, of Luther Rd., Candler, died Monday, August 13, 2012.
A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of Helen Martin Clark and of the late Doyle James Clark, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Lee Clark and James "Eddie" Clark.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Carol Stevenson Clark; a daughter, Brittany Clark, of Candler; a step-son, Ryan Colagerakis of Charlotte; and a granddaughter, Kinleigh Shayne.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
