Dear Mrs. Hatchett,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Dr. Hatchett from Agnes Scott days when Angie and I were roommates. Although I don’t know anything about the horrible disease Dr. Hatchett suffered, I do know that he is at peace now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You, Angie, Michelle and Mitchell will be close in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the difficult days ahead.
With love and sympathy,
Teace
Dear Mrs. Hatchett,

Dear Hatchett family, and especially Angie,
Teace e-mailed me just a while ago with the news of Dr. Hatchett’s death. I am so very sorry to hear of this, and will keep you all in my prayers these next weeks as you walk through this ‘valley’. I still remember so fondly my childhood best friend…you Angie…and time spent at your home. I remember well Dr. Hatchett’s laugh, and his easy deameanor. I would love to be able to see you all at somepoint in the future, and am just sorry that Chattanooga is so far away. Please know that I would be there if I could. Much love to you all, Katie Miller Grant
Angie – So sorry to hear of the death of your father. I hope your memories of him will help ease the pain. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Angie,
I am sorry to hear of of your fathers passing. I lost my dad in 2000 and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of him. Your mom and dad must have had an awesome marriage, 50 years, wow! That is beautiful. Maybe one day I’ll make it back to ASC, but until then, I send my prayers for you and your family.

Mrs. Hatchett, we are sorry to hear about Dr. Hatchett. I understand your loss, Clyde will be gone a year in February. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Christine Hensley & Rita Oxendine
I did not know Dr. Hatchett, but my father passed away 4 years ago from PSP as well. I am very sorry to hear of your loss, and hope we can one day find some way to curtail this horrid disease. I have never signed a guestbook online, but when I was reading the newspaper, the all-too-familiar initials jumped out at me and brought a flood of memories back. It seems PSP only afflicts the very few–invariably they are exceptionally creative and intelligent individuals.
My thoughts and prayers are with you–
Kathleen Beck
Mitch was a kind loving man. He and Barbara were great neighbors of our daughter and sister Patty Foley and her family. Each time we visited we had wonderful fellowship together. Please accept our sympathy. He will be missed.
Our sincere condolences for your loss. We pray for God’s Mercy and Grace during your time of grief.
