  1. Dear Barbie and Family,
Our kind, courteous and unassuming Dr. Newman entered our lives as our ‘state veterinarian’ and then became a wonderful pet lover and our client who we felt honored to serve. Dr. Newman was the kind of man who was, simply put, always nice. As a fellow veterinarian, I always felt that he represented the best qualities that one could imagine for our profession and I felt honored to be his friend and I always felt that I should model after him. Betsy and I will miss him.
    Sincerely,
Dave and Betsy Thompson, DVM’s Animal Hospital of North Asheville

P.S. Barbie, your are an angel and your dad loved and appreciated you so much!
