Dear Marilyn and family,
I am so sorry for your loss and wish to send you my condolences. Bud was quite a guy and I surely enjoyed my years with him and appreciated his super efficient effectiveness during our years together at NCSU.Also, he was well known and liked across the NCSU community. Unfortunately I will not be able to come to Asheville on the 18th but my thoughts will be with you there, nevertheless.
Sympathetically,
Eric
So sorry to hear of Bud’s passing. We have fond memories of evenings at the Faculty Club when he led the wine tastings.
On behalve of Bud’s High School Classmates and friends in Cedar Rapids, may he rest in peace.
I just read of Dr. Saylor’s passing in the N.C. State Magazine! He was my advisor at NCSU during the early 1970’s. He was so patient and kind as I poured out my academic troubles to him. He always treated me as a person and not just a number. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and wish for peace in your hearts.
