Earl David Sellers, Jr.

Fairview – Earl David Sellers, Jr., 87, died Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Fleshers Fairview Health Care Center.

A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Earl David Sellers, Sr. and Edith Johnson Sellers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Toshiko Sellers; two brothers, Ronnie and Greg Sellers and a sister, Judy Thompson.

Earl retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service and then later he retired from the United States Postal Service after 19 years.

He is survived by a sister, Margaret Maltry of Fletcher; a brother John Sellers (Barbara) of Arden as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday February 11, 2024 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.
