It is with my deepest sympathies that you must endure the lose of a loved one. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to your family. I worked with Eddie at Ingles corporate office where I saw and spoke to him almost everyday. He will be greatly missed by all.
Eva Dean, Roy, Janet, children and grandchildren, my love and Prayers are with you at this time of great sorrow and loss, May God hold you in the palm of His Hand. I love you all
Ingles will certainly miss Eddie, he was both a wonderful person and a wonderful associate. His daily work ethics and his desire to work even during his illness will not be forgotten. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
Our WTHS class reunion committe sends our deepest regrets about Eddie’s death. We are saddened by your loss. He had planned to be at the reunion on Sept. 24th. In his note back to us, he mentioned that he had not been well and we were concerned for his health. He will be there in spirit and we will honor him by placing his picture on our In Memoriam board. Eddie was well liked by his classmates and always had a ready smile and something funny to say. He will be missed by many. I had hoped to come to the service, but I have out of town guests arriving tomorrow at lunch time. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Dawn, Crystal and Angela, We just happened to pull up the Asheville Paper on the computer today and saw your dad’s picture. Hope each of you are well since we have lost contact. Dawn, we still miss you, you were an important part of our life and I thank God that we had the opportunity to know you and your family. Our memories of Eddie are from the time he spent bowling and hanging out at Star Lanes Bowling Center. His sense of humor was one of his greatest attributes. He had many friends at Star Lanes and will be dearly missed.

To family and friends-I worked part-time at Tunnel Road K-mart. I have fond memories of Eddie and his beautiful daughters.
I was so looking forward to seeing Eddie at the WTHS reunion. Whenever I come home I always looked him up for a lunch & time talking about the old days. We go way back to playing in the band together & I’ll always remember him as being a great guy who was so much fun to be around. I’m sorry I never met his daughters but want them to know I’m thinking of them & share their great loss.
I offer well wishes to the family of Mr. Smith. I am so sorry for the hurt you all feel over this loss. I hope you find comfort in knowing he is happy and at peace. Please take care.
My love to you all, now and always.
I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself, a small bird will drop frozen from abough without once ever having felt sorry for itself.’

Crystal, I have relied on this poem so many times to give me strength and to realize when I am at my lowest, self-pity is destructive. Living life, loving and remembering is a gift to ourselves and ones that have passed.
My love to you all.
Angie, I am so sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless and Take Care, Judy Rhew
