Edith Annie Mae Kerley, 96, of Candler, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Pisgah Manor.
A native of Haywood Co., she was a daughter of the late Charlotte Warren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Washington Kerley, daughter, Virginia Lee Kerley, sons, Jimmy Kerley and Malvin Loyd Kerley, Sr., grandson, Richard Norman Watkins, and sister, Linavee Bradley Williams.
Mrs. Kerley is survived by her daughter, Helen Louise Kerley Watkins (Mitchell); son, Floyd Eugene Kerley (Janice); 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Kerley will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Ridgeway Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church, 525 Old US 19/23 Hwy, Candler, NC 28715.
