Edna Lamb Todd

Arden ~ Edna Lamb Todd of Kent Drive, Arden died on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Universal Healthcare. She was born on March 23, 1921 in Newport, TN and was the daughter of the late Tilson Lee Lamb and Mae Epley Lamb. She was also preceded in death by her husband Louis Samuel Todd; two sons, Lee B. Todd and Thomas J. Todd and four sisters. She had worked for Vanderbilt Manufacturing and retired from Mars Manufacturing and was a member of the Fruit of Labor Church. She is survived by two daughters, Ella Mae Roberts of Oteen and Annette Hall of Arden; a son, Lewis E. Todd of Fletcher; a sister, Virginia Bryson of Asheville; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; special children, Steve and Sylvia McCrary and faithful pet, Sweet Pea. A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday in chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with the Rev. Willie Warren and Rev. Stan Willett officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Taylor, Steve McCrary, Dennis Bryson, Michael Roberts, Jeffrey Todd and Michael Coleman. The family would like to thank all the staff at Universal Health Care for their care and concern.
