Mrs. Sharp was a native of Madison County and was a daughter of the late James G. and Zena Victoria Coats Peek. She was married to the late William Edward Sharp and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan M. Peek and Harry H. Peek.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda S. Bailey of Durham; two sons, Gerald M. Peek of Jamestown, NC and Neal R. Peek of Asheville; one sister, Zelma P. deRamos of Mexico; one brother, Jack A. Peek of Columbia, SC; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. J.C. Parker officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 12 - 1 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
