Ruthie, I was talking with Kitty O’Kelley this week, and she told me that your mother had passed away. We moved from Irmo, SC, to Florida 2.5 years ago, but while we were in the Asheville area in the fall of 2005, I saw your mother at Pisgah Manor. My step-daughter, Stephanie Mills, works there, and we had stopped by to visit some of her patients. When she took me over to the other wing, your mother was standing just outside her door. I recognized her and stopped to chat for a few minutes. Stephanie had recently told us that Edna was not doing well. I also remember seeing her at joint church services while I still lived in Candler. She was always so pleasant and friendly.
Ruthie,
Your are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you.
Robbi, Billy, and Robert
Dear Ruth,
Sorry these thoughts are so late in coming, but I wanted you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Donna
I saw Edna at the resthome when I would go visit my Dad (he passed away in July). She was always so sweet and friendly. I enjoyed talking to her. My prayers and thoughts are with you now.
