I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Ed. We spent many hours together in my first years with Southern Railway and I learned much from him. He had always worked with my dad and uncles so we always had a lot to talk about. Those days will always be fond memories. I apologize for not being able to attend the visitation or funeral, but my heart and prayers go out to all of the family and friends.
Earleen and family,
We are so sorry to hear about Ed’s passing. We remember both of you so fondly from our time at Enka Baptist. You both filled special places in our hearts and did so much to encourage us and show us God’s love. We will remember Ed’s easy smile, his joy, and his willingness to help us in any way he could. He did so many things for us and for so many others. He was a wonderful man!
We wish we were close enough to give you a hug, but please know that we will be praying for all of you and wish you God’s care, comfort, and peace.

We will never forget the warm smile of Ed and his sweet greetings. How precious it is to know that we will see him again and that he is for Our Heavenly Father and Our wonderful Saviour, Jesus. God bless you Earleen, and family.
In His Love, Don and Martha
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time…however may I remind you that Ed’s favorite song every 5th Sunday night hymn sing was ‘Shall We Gather At the River’…and he’s there now…singing and shouting the victory as we speak!
Love in Christ,
Bob and Mary Brookshire Cook and family
Dear Earleen,
Our heart-felt sympathies. Ed was always a joy to see at church. Steve especially appreciated his sense of humor. He will always be a bright light in our memories.
Your sister in Christ, Bev Hamilton
