  1. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Ed.I always thought the world of Ed and the entire Cox family. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

  2. Ed Cox was a good, good man. I grew up with Ed and his brothers and sisters in Leicester, where they were a well respected and hard working family.
Ed was a good, honest business man and could play golf with the best.
He will be missed by his many, many friends.

  3. Tammy and family, our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your precious family on the passing of your Dad. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you…Love you…Rick and Sherry Worley

  4. I remember Ed from the summer of 1967 when I along with friends Andy Garner and Mike Whiteside had summer jobs at Skyland Oldsmobile. Ed was a true perfectionist and one of the best automotive mechanics I’ve every seen. A very fine man.

  5. My family and I would like to extend our deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one. The bible describes God as a God of comfort. May your family be comforted by God’s promise of the resurrection. (John 6:40 )

  6. Speedy’s Used Parts would like to extend our condolences for your loss. Ed was a great man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

  7. I’m so sorry to hear of Uncle Edward’s passing. My heart goes out to Aunt Dot and the rest of the Cox family. I miss seeing you. Sending hugs and prayers your way. Love, Jaymie and Jamie Eichorn

  8. Remembering Ed from his years at Cox Auto and from us being founding members of High Vista. He was a good man and a model entrepreneur who was always fair with his customers and went the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. I always appreciated his sense of humor and our chats when I ran into him around town following his retirement. My thoughts and prayers are with Ed’s family. He will be missed.

  9. I was sorry to read of Mr. Cox’s passing. He was always very kind and generous to me and my family – through the teenage years with Doug, the challenging years growing the family, and 16 years as a neighbor, he was a good man with never a cross word (a few colorful words occasionally, but never mean). We enjoy his memory.

  10. Prayers of love and comfort to Ed’s family. I will never forget the times he worked my ‘clunkers’ in to his busy schedule, so I could return on the road with ‘The Kingsmen.’ Very congenial, patient, and loved to get a laugh in when he knew I tried to ‘fix’ something on my own. Ed, ‘Go rest high on that mountain!’
